The birth of this activity can be qualified as fortuitous. In the end of the month of September of the present course, when moving us to the prospective Windows XP, it begins to appear incompatibilities among the aforenamed one operating system, and the applications habitually used, in previous years for the graphic design and retouch of images (at least in the limited user accounts created for the students).
In the face of size problem and the imperious necessity of having by hand applications like Corel Draw, PhotoDraw and similar ones, I undertake the desperate search of some similar and compatible program with XP.

After several bankrupt intents, I discovered Paint Shop Pro which in its version 7.04 works perfectly and without practically any problems of compatibility. What a surprise, when rollicking several hours with the program which is a really powerful application, with many possibilities, spectacular tools and, above all, of a great learning simplicity and handling. Immediately I decided to introduce it to my students, explaining in half hour user's interface and four more things, leaving the rest to the high selflearning capacity that they show in topics related with the ICT.

In order to avoid allowing them to digress in this respect, I had to put them a goal, an objective to get at the same time that they familiarized with the use of the program. It was in that moment, when visiting the web of the project, the logo of the Project appears in front of my eyes, designed by Joaquín Moreno, and I think why not to give an opportunity to the students of creating their own logos, puting them in the net and did it leting them to choose the favorite ones. They found it a good idea, and also Joaquín in spite of the risk of artistic competition, and they put on hands to the work. In these moments the students of 3th and 4th ESO have completed all their designs and you can see it in galería de logos in internet
