Evaluation of activity 'The scientific method'

      In Porto the teachers in charge of the Project Area have just carried out an activity that is about practical application of the investigation methodology through the direct observation of a drawing of Kate Harina. The teachers' words:

      The activity turned out to be very positive:
      once explained the investigation methodology, the students had to continue their investigation works on the proposed topic: "The fair of the world". Each group works in a sub-topic of the 7 countries that they are studying.

      We could observe that the students understood the methodology investigation perfectly since:

• They organized the materials that they already had picked up.
   

• They speak with scientific language, applying it correctly: "I have asked questions on the contents that I had to be able to look for possibilities of answer and to continue investigating"; I have achieved that the doubts that I had could arise to be able to investigate the answers"; I went to the dictionary to look for the meaning of words that I didn't understand"; I have underlined what is interesting"; I organized the information"; I have met with things that I didn't know", etc…

  
   
• They are located perfectly in the corresponding stage of the work: the observation and being questioned on the doubts that arise.
