The book of books

Objective
Each student team read a book chosen by themselves and fulfil a form speaking and giving their opinion about the book subjects (usually youth subjects); this work will be translated into English; students from all CReA countries could share their readings, works and debate youth subjects

Final Product To create a virtual Book with information about different books
Tasks
  • Students are given a list of books with a variety of reading suggestions
  • Students are divided into small teams
  • After reading a book, each team makes a reading guide with information concerning title, author, editor, publishing date, type and subject matter
  • Each team collect material to the reading activity in order to create different chapters for their book, and include them in the Book:
    • Jumping ideas: opinions of each group member
    • Spread the colour: suggestive images and drawings created by students according to the theme.
    • Creative explosion: students written works about the theme (creative writing.

note: in the last chapter international students will be invited to send written works about the explored themes and, this way, they would add creativity to the Book
