Tasks

The spanish team will start the exercise, making the first page of the comic and it´ll be send the first page to another country to continue the story, then the second country will send the two first pages to a third country whose team will create the third page, and so on ...

Phase one

  • Division of the class in groups. Selection of the group by interest and motivation. The students' personal curiosity.
  • Depending on the group, the coordinator's election will take it the teacher
  • Brainstorm for the election of the title
  • A secretary's election (he/she should take note of the comments)
  • Technique philips 6-6. The six components of each group thinks and dialogues on what are occurred for their work:
    • The development of the history.
    • Drawing.
    • Each session they must give something written (the secretary's function)
  • Every day they are proposed an objective.It is possible that it is not completed but it is necessary to get it fixed
  • Reading of the ideas, they choose those that more they like them. At this time the teacher offers her contributions and guides
  • Division of the work. Each student take care of a part but the result must obtain the approval of the whole group.
  • Presentation of the work (carried out directly in English).
  • Correction among the members of the group
  • The teacher's final supervision
  • Oral exhibition of the work (generally a representation)

Phase two

To convert the comic to electronic format

  1. Drawing and realization (six frames with their texts)
  2. Scan the drawings
  3. To save the images with a suitable format for the work (we has opted for jpg. quality half. 72 pp. one frame in each file)
  4. Realization of slides in power point (one of the images in each slide. Total six slides but the initial page of the cómic)
  5. If it is possible sound will be added
  6. To review the technique.
  7. To print to be able to use it in class
  8. To send the partners

It depends on the time participants take to give their work to other countries, but essencially the comic , in ideal conditions, we could work having in mind these dots:
