  • To overcome the investigation difficulties detected by the teachers in the students of Area of Project of 5º grade.
  • To teach to the students of 5º to investigate in social sciences using the scientific method.
  • To guide the work of the students.

Tasks
1 stage: Detection, in class, of the difficulties of the students in the investigation and organization of the collected material;
  • work group Meeting - with the Teacher of Project area, Mariana Sampaio - to propose a solution for the problem.
2 stage: Elaboration of a presentation in power point about scientific methodology applied to investigation in social science
  • To investigate on internet about the topic
  • To look for material adapted to the age
  • Combined elaboration of the presentation using each teacher's specialties: history (Teresa S.) and arts (Mariana S.)


3 stage:Presentation of the assembly to the students

  • Detailed explanation of each stage
  • Practical application of the investigation methodology through the direct observation of a drawing of Kate Harina
  • The students' written exercise with the results of the observation

It is not an activity carried out by the pupil but one of the objectives of CREA it is that the teachers also elaborates his pedagogic materials with the TIC, being creative and sharing them with the teachers of other countries. This is the framework of this activity. CREA it is, in my opinion, is as much for teachers as for the students... the two parts growing in creativity, application of the TIC and sharing at distance.
