The unknown Oporto

Objective To devellope with students of 6th grade a yearly project about how they see their own city. We are working not on \"monuments\" but on particular aspects of the town: gardens, stained glasse windows, bridges, means of transport (history), important public buildings,the river\'s life, thypical zones like \"Ribeira\" and its daily life;
Collaborative work between the 7 small groups working at the time for the project

Final Product Final work to be presented to parents: a touristic tour animated by the students themselves
final work to show to our school (students and teachers): a powerpoint presentation made by students (using video projector)
final work for the students: a cd with a power point presentation of the whole work done by the small teams
Tasks children are divided into 7 different groups; each group has chosen its own subject and organised itself alone
