  • Find unexplored possibilities in each country

Final Product Web site about the subject to submit to the Young Reporters for the Environment
Tasks Each national team is responsible for one of these subjects:

  1. How do we use energy ? (general data) How can we reduce this use ?(preparing the debate)
  2. How do we produce energy ? (general data)
  3. Fossil fuel
  4. Nuclear power
  5. Rain collected in high lakes and reservoirs
  6. Solar radiation
  7. Wind
  8. Biomass
  9. Tides
  10. Geothermal energy

In the subjects 3-10 the students should write about the following items:

  • How does it work ?
  • Case study in each country
  • Unexplored opportunities in the country
  • Advantages / disadvantages

The Portuguese team of each subject gather the information in a single web page. Portuguese team nº 1 in collaboration with the other international teams (nº1) writes the debate's synthesis.

Participants Ten teams in each country. Each team should be in regular contact via email with similar teams in the other three countries.
